Apparently on Monday mornings the Brighton manager shows a video of all the players who haven't tracked back and covered from the weekend game ,love to see that down the O's.

Looking forward to finding out who is behind this account. I already have my suspicions given its target.PT78 wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:05 pmIf you xant see the lack of effort then I’m sorry but I can’t converse with that level of stupidity. . Have you seen Idris running so lazily behind Burton players , both goals during the highlights ?
I really think you need a sciences education rather than a footballing education

I think calling footballers lazy is lazy. It's really hard to sustain a career as a professional footballer. If you can't be bothered, you get found out before you become a League 1 regular.

He was Jogging back after they attacked for their first goal, no desire no motivation to win a tackleRed_Army wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:56 pm There looks to be a fitness issue to me. El Mizouni was out on his feet, which probably cause the second goal.
It is incredibly frustrating and it has happened in each of our 4 season back in League One under Wellens. We seem to accept that we will have a poor start in the hope that players will get fitter and gel as it goes on. It worked in bith of our first two seasons, but not last season. It is like starting with a points deduction.

It's up there with 'just play some youth team players' for lazy football takes.SpiceAlbert wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 5:17 pm I think calling footballers lazy is lazy. Re: Is this our Laziest Group of players
I raise you the example of James Scowcroft, a player who knew he was finished, coasted through one final contract and scored precisely 0 goals.SpiceAlbert wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 5:17 pm I think calling footballers lazy is lazy. I don't think that's the issue with the squad though, as per a few of the previous posts they look in poor physical condition and fitness, which along with niggling injuries seems to be a recurring theme at the club

Slowcrock wasn't lazy. He was done. And if you have to go back 15+ years to find one example, which then turns out to be a knackered old pro who went to non-league...

WJ1 is marking the goal scorer and lets him run off him. Get it right.PT78 wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 5:18 pmHe was Jogging back after they attacked for their first goal, no desire no motivation to win a tackleRed_Army wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:56 pm There looks to be a fitness issue to me. Re: Is this our Laziest Group of players
We didn’t track any of their forwards The first goal they ran with the ball for about 30 yards through the middle without any of our players near him. What was El Miz doing in the left back position for the second goal obviously covering for Morris. Their player then passes to a player in the box unmarked with 4 defenders not within 2 yards of him. Schoolboy defending. Our tackling was non existent and if we continue to defend in that manner we will around the bottom 4. Morris was again nowhere good enough.PT78 wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 5:18 pmHe was Jogging back after they attacked for their first goal, no desire no motivation to win a tackleRed_Army wrote: Sun Oct 25, 2026 4:56 pm There looks to be a fitness issue to me. Morris wasn’t on when they scored their second. But difficult to blame him for either goal.moonwalk19 wrote: Mon Oct 26, 2026 8:38 amWe didn’t track any of their forwards The first goal they ran with the ball for about 30 yards through the middle without any of our players near him.
