Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
I’ve got a bad feeling about this game . At the moment I think Cambridge are playing better than us . Our problem seems to be in midfield again this season. What’s wrong with El-Miz . ? Carrying an injury ? He’s playing like he’s carrying some bricks on his back. Also it looks like Isaac Hayden can only give us 45 minutes ( if that ) . The only midfielder we’ve got who’s playing well at the moment is Gilbert and he hasn’t even had a pre-season . 2-1 to Cambridge

Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
I can't go & managed to sell my ticket online pretty quickly.
I too can't see us winning this as Cambridge usually score.& we would then need at least 2 to get any kind of result.
Things not going well atm but you never know.
Cue Board meltdown if we lose. Cambridge to win.

My first ever Os soccer match off was against Cambridge back in the old Div 4 days.
I'm suspect tomorrow will be a 1-1 draw.

Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
Is this the Prediction Thread because Constanza hasn't started one yet or an early posted Exiles Thread? Thanks for any clarification.

Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
It saddens me to write this and I hope I am totally wrong
3-1 to Cambridge
Scarlett with a consolation goal in the 80-90th minute
6 yellows and a red for an Orient player
RW shakes hand with the opposition manager then disappears down the tunnel
The crowd boo the players at half-time and the final whistle and we start to hear louder cries of "Richie Out"
PT does the after match interviews
As I've said above I hope I am totally wrong.
Off to the match in a few mins.

After seeing that half our starting team is no where near match fit I’ll go with a close 4-0 to cambridge

Hmm, yeah. This XI will be perceived as a gamble, even if it transpires that no-one else was fit enough to start.Rich Tea Wellin wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 11:21 am After seeing that half our starting team is no where near match fit I’ll go with a close 4-0 to cambridge
Slight fear that we could implode today, and then this team selection will look really odd.

Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
It’s either a move of desperation or genius to shake things up. A team that’s not played together with 3 having no minutes in the last 6 months and a couple still getting 100% fit doesn’t sound like a good plan to meWally Banter wrote: Sat Oct 31, 2026 11:37 amHmm, yeah. Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
Just to give Richtea a little chuckle, I just searched “prediction” in CCH’s post history and in those threads he’s predicted 6 Orient wins in 47 recent games

Re: Orient V Cambridge Official Thread
That starting XI worries me, not on ability but whether REG, Boniface and O'Neill make it through the game unscathed
