El Miz has been Mr Consistent until this season. I don't know what's going on there.
Hayden - Looked like a good signing on paper, but he probably should have called it a day last season.

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
There isnt really much competition for their starting places. Perhaps they just cant do it on a wet and windy weekend in Burton. Where's the hunger, desire, passion?
I'd like to see some strength and tackling primarily in the middle.

One saving grace, we didn’t sign him on a three year deal, 2 years but shift him on in the summer

Plenty of people said his legs had gone before we signed him. Why couldn't the club see that?PKM wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 5:57 pmIs anyone worse than HaydenRedDwarf 1881 wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 5:55 pmTo think Michael Craig was bombed out . Christ. Things must be really bad. Craig can't even get into a National League sides' first 11.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 5:55 pmTo think Michael Craig was bombed out . Is he really worse than Hayden ?PT78 wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 5:19 pm Lacking in

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
I think miz is a good league one player but overrated big time by Orient fans and Hayden strikes me as the type who has had a big injury or a few smaller ones and never recovered

Yes QPR fans said his legs have gone don't we do any player research?Long slender neck wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 6:00 pmPlenty of people said his legs had gone before we signed him. We keep signing unsuitable players.
Levitt was not a wellens player yet he signed him and binned him.
Kabia was said not to be able to play as a loan striker.Yet we paid 800k and did just that.
Are the players trying to get RW sacked?
It would cost a fortune to pay him off.

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
Sick of the idea that Richie has players thrusted on him. Does he strike you as that kind of manager??
Every player we have signed under his tenure is completely and utterly 100% down to him. End of f*cking discussion.
Kinda fell sorry for Ling now

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
Thought they were both very average today. Not sure why they’ve been made scapegoats for today’s result.
Hayden was rightly subbed after an hour as expected. Iddy was out of his feet and should have come off as well but there was no option to replace him.

I thought exactly the same thing, maybe playing at the very top of English football doesn't necessarily mean you're good enough to handle the pace of lower league football.Token wrote: Sat Oct 24, 2026 6:18 pm Hayden reminds me of when Kevin Nolan came. Forgetting that he was the manager, we all had great hopes. But he was finished as is Hayden

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
Clubs know now when a player is finished or on the way down before they do, they have so many metrics from matches, training etc, how many sprints in training and at what speed, the really good footballers find a way to adapt as they are slowing down or losing physcality
Prats was still ace for us, as he was super fit, a leader and knew what he could and couldn't do

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
Thinking back to some midfield generals in the past like Stephen Dawson, Steve Castle and many others who would give 100% and more……….and more recently Jordan Brown………oh for one of them today.
