Re: Is this our Laziest Group of players
There looks to be a fitness issue to me. El Mizouni was out on his feet, which probably cause the second goal.
It is incredibly frustrating and it has happened in each of our 4 season back in League One under Wellens. We seem to accept that we will have a poor start in the hope that players ...

Re: Is this our Laziest Group of players
Apart from 1 or 2 is this theLaziest group of players
you've witnessed down the O's for some time ?
Watched the extended highlights and to me we could have lost the game by 3 or 4 goals. The amount of space we allowed their players was criminal. Defenders were know where near there players ...

Re: Our Midfield Generals Hayden & El Mizouni
El Miz has been Mr Consistent until this season. I don't know what's going on there.
Hayden - Looked like a good signing on paper, but he probably should have called it a day last season.
El Miz was dropped by RW a few games ago and he did not like it according to Richie. Obviously there is ...

Re: Ratings
Listened to the game today and just seen the short highlights. Scarlett and Kabia should have both come off much sooner. I have seen enough to see they are not going to score many goals if any. Morris is not proving to be the player from last season. Hayden is a big dissapointment so far . RW said ...

Re: Time for a change
With the squad we have we should be doing far better. Still living off the back of 24/25 season. Time for him to go.
I don’t believe we have the squad that everybody say is strong. Several players are not up to Level 1 at the moment. They include the following Kabia . Scarlett,Hayden. Morris ...

Crowd - 3. Deadest atmosphere I can remember in a long time.

Louder on tv than the plymouth game
Far better support today.

Re: Are we physically weak?
Yesterday it was said we were boys against men. Every team we play seems to be massive. Why do we always seem to have a physically weak squad? We are losing battles of strength, particularly in the air.
If we weighed both sides from yesterday, i bet the difference would be a man or more ...

Re: Thanks Richie time to move on
I'm with KenleyO. I too am sick of watching the team I love get beat every week
I've lost count of the number of players brought in here, during the last two seasons, but we're still so poor.
The common denominator is Richie Wellens.
Despite supporting him constantly, now im sick of him ...

Re: Ratings
Baxter - 6. Couple of smart stops but isn't helping our problem with crosses
Stevens - 7. Very solid full back.
Oluwu - 6.5. Handled the physical stuff well, can't tell from south stand who was to blame for the goals so conditional score.
Forrester - 7. Thought he defended well, same caveat as ...

Stevens is a good player
Was hoping we might go two up top and gamble
We look devoid of structure and plan, lots of good players on the pitch but not working together or any idea of it, 11 strangers
Very poor display. Our passing from the back to a lone attacker was dismal. Our set plays were ...

Re: Dovin loan may be over?
The risk of taking on rehab goalkeepers
We are probably getting Dovin very cheap as he needs game time and recovery. It was a gamble but in honesty was a gamble that was looking like it could be good for all parties.
Just our luck eh?
His shoulder injury expected to last at least 6 weeks ...

Things do not seem right.

According to DV he went down the tunnel straight after the whistle. PT took the post interview. Is he tired of hearing the fans having a go at him on this forum.

Re: Leyton Orient v Arsenal u-21's
Wondering if we're ever going to get a shot on target.
28 shots 10 on target . Our forward line woefully bad.Springett has not enough pace to go pass a player. Theo was dire tonight he should not start in the first team Scarlett did nothing . Dogba shooting was awful. Another goalie mistake ...

'Atmosphere needs to be better in the stadium'
Do leave off, Richie, the place was rocking pre - kickoff, and plenty of support during the game.
Judging by the reactions around me at the final whistle, fans seem resigned to this level of underperformance now. Worrying times.
What about RW ...

Re: Exiles thread - Bradford (League Cup - H)
Bradford were probably not that keen on travelling South midweek but they applied themselves well to make sure they got the win.
Our players haven't travelled any further than Luton in the last two weeks, but were 2nd best for most of the game.
I am surprised we didn't put Kabia on.
The game ...

Re: Obiero to Gillingham
RW obviously had the choice of bringing in Gibson or keeping Zech. He made his choice.
The only player now who is still here but out of favour seems to be Craig?
Who’s Gibson? 😉
There’s literally no way loaning Zech out has freed up funds to sign Gilbert.
Since Craig is still here and ...

Re: Dane Scarlett has signed as per THFC!
Don’t know a lot about Dane Scarlett other than his name being mentioned fairly frequently on here. Seems he is very highly rated, and I know stats aren’t everything, but doesn’t seem to have been prolific anywhere he’s been on loan so far, and you could argue that the latest loan was a step back ...

Re: Scott Mitchell Appreciation Post
As suggested by gshaw on another thread.
Almost irrespective of what happens this season, think Scotty M, and the rest of the recruitment team, have done a sterling job in the transfer window this year.
I like the look of all the players we've signed so far and, even if a couple don't work out ...
