I think the big plus with Dane is he has already played quite a few games in the EFL, plus one in five at a dire Oxford side in the Championship is a glimmer of hope

The thing with Dane is that he's neither one thing nor t'other. When he was young it looked like he was going to be an out and out goalscorer but the goals have just never materialised. In his last couple of loans they've tried to use him as a deeper forward and he looked good in flashes but he just doesn't have the aggression or strength for it yet. I don't remember if I've said it before but I think it's just a matter of time, where he needs to bulk up and become more of a target man like Lisbie did. He's not a ratter like Kelman, he won't charge around hunting the ball. He might even frustrated people to begin with because he won't seem to be doing much. We'll just have to wait and see if he can figure out what he is as a player.

I think Dane is coming to the right manager/coach . If anybody can get the best out of Dane it's Richie
