Baxter 7

Stevens 6
Gilchrist 6
Morris 5
Gilbert 6
Hayden 5
El Mizouni 4
Scarlett 5
Kabia 6
O Neill 5
Chinedu 5
Connolly 5
Dobra 5
Should have picked up a point minimum but too many players off the pace today.
El Miz was rancid and is massively unfit.

Incredibly generous marks
And Wellens a 6, did you watch the match?

What did he do to merit that, second only to Baxter & Forrester, on your scores
The same as Gilchrist & Gilbert? Now I know you’re just having a laugh/wind up
Go the whole hog and make CW MoTM

Thought Forrester was really good tho. Not his fault we are managed by a narcissist

I'd give Kabia a 3. It would've been 4, but I deducted a point for the fact that he had to keep hauling his shorts up in the first half.

Who decided that Kabia was a better idea than Wareham?

Baxter 7
Wellens 3
Stevens 7
Forrester 7
Gilchrist 7
Morris 6
Hayden 6
El Miz 6
Gillespie 7
Kabia 5
Scarlett 5
Subs
Alan 6
Chinedu 6
OON 6
Dobra 5
Wellens 3. Bonkers initial line up, so many players out of position all so that WJ1 can start. Then bonkers substitutions, to keep WJ1 on even after his part in both their goals.

Doubt wareham was an option after the abuse our fans gave him last season.

Wellens Junior still gets a game!

Listened to the game today and just seen the short highlights. Scarlett and Kabia should have both come off much sooner. I have seen enough to see they are not going to score many goals if any. Morris is not proving to be the player from last season. Hayden is a big dissapointment so far . RW said that after 10 games he will know his best team to get into the top 10. He now says the next 6 games will be crucial. I don’t believe we have the scoring ability to achieve a top 10 place. He keeps on about players fitness as being an excuse. The 2 goals that Burton scored were both poor defending mistakes that a L2 side should not make.At the moment we are clueless in the way we perform and RW should take the blame

Bloke next to me at the game hit the nail on the head when he said that we have a soft underbelly and a midfield that doesn't battle. El.Miz gave the ball away for the second goal, and is really off his game at the moment.
Agree re Kabia and Scarlett, both were poor today and I think we've wasted our money on Kabia. He doesn't impress me at all, sadly.

Before I get accused by the normal suspect of being a Wellens hater I am not. I am trying to look objectively at what he brings to the Team. Sorry, but the game largely passes him by but he does hit the occasional good ball and runs around a lot. Will he ever command, or at best, influence a game in ways that achieve a win? No he won't. Neither will he ever be the worst player you'll see. Is he in our first XI on ability or promise - never.

I'm no fan of Kabia, but I think it's unfair that him and Scarlett are getting pelters - the team is giving them no support or service.
Even Connolly - who is ability-wise one of the best forwards in the league - is struggling to do anything.
When we switch to back to back 4, that'll be a better time to judge them.

Fair comment.
I guess I'm just a bit browned off with the place we're in right now. When I see a shoestring budget team such as Burton, with 7 first teamers out injured - fair play to them, by the way - beat us like that it makes me wonder where we're at and where we're going.

Can't be arsed with numbers but I reckon...
Baxter. Decent at this level
Forrester, Stevens and Gilchrist. Very good players.
El Miz and Hayden. Pretty good but best days long gone.
Wellens. Not bad but a bit Teflon (no one can stick him)
Morris. Decent but likes to hang out a leg.
Kabia and Scarlett. Can't make chances without good delivery of ball. Scarlett needs to be fitter
Gilbert. Triffic.
Connolly. Still not fit enough.
O'Neill. Quality will show soon.
Dobra. Clever but ineffectual. Not big enough.
Jusuf. Should be ripping it up at this level but doesn't.
Big Phil. Gonna be good but not yet.

Scarlett is one of them players who we’ll forever be hearing about the potential he has and how he was once on Spurs’ books but he’ll never fulfill said hype.
In Kabia’s defence he has shown some glimpses of brilliance already - the goal at Luton springs to mind. This Scarlett geezer has done literally nothing since he got here.

OK.
Reckon Scarlett will end up with more goals than Kabia.

That could be true. That doesn’t mean that either will be good.

Paid good money for Kabia. Therefore he should play. If he plays, we must set up to feed him. Can we do it? Looks doubtful right now. Wot we gonna do?
