Thanks Richie time to move on

I’m sick and tired of turning up week in week out and getting turned over by all and sundry.
We have assembled probably the best front line we have ever assembled in my time at Orient, but is hamstrung by the negative, poor team selection and general play of the team.
That is down to one man. Richie.
We’ve had 2 weeks to prepare for a game against a team where you stop the cross and don’t allow set pieces.
How did they score? 1 cross 1 set piece.
It’s basic and it’s wearying. No wide player took on their opposite number. Kabia is a flat track bully.
What’s the excuse this week Richie?

I’d give him the next two to see if there’s any turn around but as much as I’ve backed him in the past I does feel like things are coming to their natural end.
Unfortunately for him he doesn’t seem professional enough to deprioritise family ties and it may well be his down fall. A sad end if it happens but he could still turn it around

What a cretinous response.
This is my team that I have supported since the early 80’s and had a season ticket since 2010.
I am happy to support a team but when there is a disconnect between the the ability of the playing staff and the quality of the product on the pitch I am entitled to ask questions.

The last 3 seasons we started worse.
This time last year we were 18th, both
previous we were bottom 4 or 5!.
Only once have we finished out of the top half.
Those are the Cold Hard FACTS !

Richie will be lovin' this. Our fans have finally come to life. Only to slag each other off. Marvellous.

Realistically he has 2 more home games this month. If he doesn't win both he's toast. Big contract or not.
And this avoiding the media is utterly nonesense. Its his job. Why isn't he doing it?

I sadly agree.
Richie has proven himself to be tactically inept and inflexible.
With another manager, this squad is
easily pushing top 5.
The fact we don't look any better/different from last season - when the squad was truly dreadful - is beyond depressing.

I don't go due to health, I don't want to be
Derek Reynolds MK2,
May he continue to rest in peace.
You might be happier if I did though ?
P.S I thought you'd blocked me

I'm with KenleyO. I too am sick of watching the team I love get beat every week
I've lost count of the number of players brought in here, during the last two seasons, but we're still so poor.
The common denominator is Richie Wellens.
Despite supporting him constantly, now im sick of him, & want him gone.
I'm sick of his defensive line ups, rarely more than one up front. There's a defensive vibe in the team. If we ever go 1 up, you know, we will then just try and defend that 1 goal lead. Its not how I want my team to play.
I'm also sick of Richie's pathetic avoid the fans/press crap lately, in which he sends out PT to face the press.
I would sack him this evening if I was in charge, put Pratt's in charge temporarily, & start looking for a new manager, first thing Monday morning
We just can't go in like this much longer

Orient is a very patient club and might be the reason Wellens is not gone. On the other hand, David Gandler may not be a patient person and most likely wants to start seeing some better results. I am all for Wellens, but, I can see him gone if we loose our next three games.

If he drops WJ1 and plays any one of the subs instead today, we go in at half time ahead. It’s that simple.
You can’t expect to beat teams with just 10 players.

We've won 9 in 32 games this calendar year. Don't know how much longer we'll allow him to circle the drain.
If he brings Morris back in, if Connolly stays fit, if he drops Charlie, it he actually gives some starts to the decent number of options we have in our squad, it's not beyond saving. But it'd require a change in attitude he's not really shown he's capable of.

So you would bring in Morris who has been atrocious this season, I assume for Chiendu, against a side who were pummeling our box with corners and long throws ?

Shamefull support recently.
Only games I remember any kind of noise were the Stockport play off game & the Barnsley come back win at
Home games in the last 2 seasons .
That is Simply Pathetic !

South stand was making plenty of noise throughout first half and continued despite being a player down. Fans show up and supoort the team and then are criticised by some troll sat at home? f*** that.

Whether I was there or not.
Ive only not been there for 2 full years but the the 50 years previous & the 2 & a bit I was on & off to that I was.

I've been very supportive of RW but every manager hits a point where they've run out of ideas. If there was some manager out there who I liked the look of I'd be more interested in a change, but I really don't see many coaches who could take this squad and get more out of it.

Silly Sausage
Nope this ain’t it. f*** this top boy nonsense. You don’t go for whatever reason, you have no right to call out people who spend their money and show their support in whatever way they choose. Whether the fans are noisy or silent doesn’t absolve the players and management from criticism. The stadium has been overwhelmingly supportive of Wellens despite the poo poo we’ve consistently seen since Stockport away.

I would give him until the Blackpool game. If we don't win that then bye.
There's no excuses anymore, he has the squad, the depth the GK he's been asking for and yet results still haven't improved.
The words of the Doncaster fans are coming true, "Wellens is great when things are going well, but when things are not going so well he doesn't know how to change it."
