Scott Mitchell- one more vital job to do

Please, get CW a decent loan move, National League.
It will do everyone a massive favour, Charlie, Richie, the team, the fans, Nigel, Gandler, everyone.
Nigel needs to sort this out
With the impending return of Connolly, Gilbert’s form then there’s no room in the 18 for CW
Nigel needs to be forceful here and take the bul by the horns.
RW needs to be 100% concentrating and getting the very best out of what is a very strong squad.
There is a danger the toxicity from continuing to pick his son , despite his limited abilities ,is having a big negative effect.
Action needs to be taken.

The chairman stepping in and forcing the managers son out on loan absolutely wouldn’t cause any issues….

We won’t know why Obiero went on loan but Wellens didn’t. Personally I think it’s because CW can play in more positions than Obiero can. Others will cry nepotism or assume no L2 team would have him or whatever.
What would be the point of packing him off to NL? We’d have to recall Craig as midfield injury cover.

Craig will never play for Orient again
We’ve got plenty of cover in midfield

If we lost Richie to a Championship club who came in for him then fair enough . However if we lost Richie because he was hounded out by people like PKM and Token then I would find that very hard to accept.

Nonsense. The decision has to come from Richie. And if Richie can’t see it, PT and Prats need to be man enough to tell him.
I don’t think there’s any way WJ1 can get game time here with how the squad is looking. Even being on the bench yesterday was a stretch, Oyekunle should have been on there. So I fully expect something to be sorted out at some point in the near future.

Yes, I agree re game time. With Connolly, Boniface, OON, Gilchrist and possibly REG I can’t see him getting in the 18.
Ok, be great to come from RW, but you seriously think PT or Prats going to have a quiet word? No effin’ chance. That is why the lead has to come from the top. Nige is Richie’s boss & he needs to tell him. That is the job of bosses.

CW has certainly been selected to play in more positions than Obiero... whether he actually has any ability to play in those positions is a different question... and I don't think any other manager in L1 would be starting CW in any other position than CM.

Apart from Ballard and a couple of others we had a misfiring squad last season . Add to that we had injuries to key players so not surprising Charlie was played in different positions .

No doubt, but I think in nearly all cases there would've been at least 1/2 alternative options available. Injury crisis wasn't that bad.

About as well as CW. He was hardly a standout performer - in any position - and I'm not particularly anti CW.

The idea that a grown man could be 'hounded out' of a managerial job by a few negative posters on an obscure football forum is bananas.

There is literally no way WJ1 starts at CM in any L1 side.

We are all assuming Richie will be here. I listened to Nigels interview. Lots of praise for DOF, the way players moved on, new players in, players back from injury but I didn't hear anything about Richie. Add that to him disappearing after the match plus we have a two week break makes me wonder if he's moving on.
