Re: Safe standing - installed
It's great that they're now "working with industry leaders on Safe Standing". Maybe that could have done before the installation instead of after?

Just someone vaguely competent would have been nice. Don't think they had to be the industry leaders on bolting a bit of railing into the ground in front of a seat.SpiceAlbert wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 7:22 pm It's great that they're now "working with industry leaders on Safe Standing". That's a typical Little Leyton Orient way of looking at it, HA. In the new Orient, everyone is an industry leader or in the forefront of their field, even that American bloke who sometimes puts bits about the Os on his youtube channel.

I hope the people who have ballsed up this safe standing in our current ground aren't involved in the new stadium project?
I'm sure we'll have industry leaders doing that one.

They have ballsed it up twice by failing not one but two safety inspections. It's like the days of the old Westside inspection failures all over again.Hoover Attack wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 7:50 pm I hope the people who have ballsed up this safe standing in our current ground aren't involved in the new stadium project?

Seriously, the gap between the rhetoric and the reality hasn’t been this large since you know who took over, and before that in Hearn’s first couple of years. Round and round we go.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for it. I just prefer it when it’s based on something other that hot air, wishful thinking and bullshit.Max B Gold wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 9:39 pmI too am against high levels of positivityOyinbO wrote: Fri Aug 07, 2026 8:59 pm Seriously, the gap between the rhetoric and the reality hasn’t been this large since you know who took over, and before that in Hearn’s first couple of years.
