We all know you don' get owt for nowt, don't we?

Apols for a restatement of the bleedin obvious....
The situation is indeed unfixable as it stands. The monster we have created - ie capitalism, finance, nationalism, trade, globalism etc. has us tightly bound in red tape. We all owe one and other trillions of bucks. I heard USA's debt mountain is ...

Just to be clear... Of course we should replace Wellens with someone better. Until someone better becomes available, we should support and encourage the man.

Yes

'Wouldn't mind Rowett at a pinch but he's not as good as Wellens. None of the recommendations above are.

'Don't believe the old El Miz has gone for good. I think he must be carrying a significant injury. How else could he fall from so high to so low so fast?

Once heard Sid Bishop talk about Nick Sharkey, then of Sunderland, back heading him in the face. I was there and remember Sid playing on bleeding a full Terry Butcher. In this interview, many years later, Sid said he asked the ref "can I hit him?" He said the ref said "don't let me see you do it ...

Love the Arse when they play magic football. But loved Fleetwood more for showing what a bit of yeoman fortitude can do.

If you give it you have to take it.oʻ

Paid good money for Kabia. Therefore he should play. If he plays, we must set up to feed him. Can we do it? Looks doubtful right now. Wot we gonna do?

We have an experienced manager and a decent L1 squad. Things are not going well at the moment and we're all disappointed. A couple of wins and attitudes will change. All this anti management talk is akin to jumping off a cliff cos you're afraid you might fall.

Similar but much, much bigger

I thought Burton's Vickers stole the show but he often was allowed space and time in our half. Was that cos he's brilliant or cos we were lax in midfield? If we were lax, Iddy and Hayden take the blame. If it's cos he's brill at 21 years of age, how come our higher pedigree Jusuf spent the afternoon ...

What's all this "just wait for Boniface" stuff. I remember this young fella doing great stuff for us attacking down the left wing. I also remember him struggling in defence at times and making the odd mistake. He's not the Messiah you know.

I wouldn't say lazy but we do seem to lack a bit of physicality.
As an example, 'kept an eye on Scarlett yesterday. He ran about a lot but rarely looked dangerous. Looked knackered half the time. He used to be built like a whippet but now he's filled out there's a lot of him to cart about. (Bit like ...

A great manager has to be a great leader IMHO. RW seems to be lacking in the latter, I agree.
He assembled this big squad and, I guess, played a key role in selection and recruitment. Our best players are close to match fitness and I thought by now we'd be brushing off the likes of Burton A.
Either ...

Can't be arsed with numbers but I reckon...
Baxter. Decent at this level
Forrester, Stevens and Gilchrist. Very good players.
El Miz and Hayden. Pretty good but best days long gone.
Wellens. Not bad but a bit Teflon (no one can stick him)
Morris. Decent but likes to hang out a leg.
Kabia and ...

Keep trying to stock up with beer but just drink more of it... like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in.

'Hesitate to suggest. It in case he picks up the idea but it would save a lot of his time if he just renamed the World "Planet Trump" and be done withit.

'Thought Morris had a decent game. He gave their man a chance to con the ref and the guy took it. Didn't Gilbert give the ball away and let 'em in for the winning goal? Is he dog xxxx as well?

"give"

'Only watch on the stream these days and shouldn't really comment but, to me, Chas looks a decent L1 prospect. No better, no worse than Obiero. 'Might develop, might not. He didn't chose his Dad and he's here. Dunno why we don't him encouragement.

Errrrm.....
'Just seen the vid of that Witkoff bloke crawling on his belly in front of Putin and lauding him for his humanitarianism.
It is becoming clear to me (though long suspected) that USA is no longer a friend of UK and the other European nations. Trump and Putin would diminish us if they ...

So, we've fixed our defence and we think we have a potent front three. Trouble is, the "fix" means diluting our midfield and strikers can't score without plenty of ball. Matter of balance, innit?

Good defensive performance but no spark. Bit unlucky not to get a point, I thought.
